Wesley Ball is the current secretary to the Labour Party and director of political services. [1]
Ball was special adviser to minister Hilary Benn at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs from January 2009 until Labour was defeated in the 2010 UK general election> He continued advising Benn until [date].[1]
During the 2010 general election, Ball ran the briefing operation for the then prime minister Gordon Brown. Ball has also worked in campaigns and public affairs for NGOs and the Labour Party. He has advised political parties in Botswana and Macedonia on campaign strategy. [1]
