Andrew Garfield - Brunswick Group
Andrew Garfield is a partner at Brunswick Group which he joined in 2001 'after 15 years in newspaper journalism. Before joining Brunswick he was Financial Editor of the Independent, and retains a particular but not exclusive focus on financial institutions and cross-border activity.'[1]

As a partner in Brunswick's financial institutions group Garfield has 'acted for some of the world's leading companies including Barclays, BNP Paribas, GDF Suez, NYSE Euronext, Access Industries, JPower, Munich Re, Renaissance Capital and VTB. He has extensive experience in advising clients on high profile M&A, crisis and shareholder activism. Major transaction experience includes Barclays acquisition of Lehman and BNP Paribas' acqusitions of Fortis and BNL, Barclays bid for ABN-Amro, the mergers of GDF Suez and NYSE Euronext'. [2]
Education
Garfield graduated from Oxford University with a BA in Russia and French.
