Aileen Colleran
Councillor for Partick West as a member of the Scottish Labour Party, Aileen Colleran moved from Council Business Manager to Chief Wip in May 2007. In the Register of Councillors' Interests, she declares undertaking remunerated work for City Building LLP (as Director/Board Member) - a Limited Liability Partnership set up by Glasgow City Council - and for Glasgow Cultural Enterprises (as Director/Board Member) - another of Glasgow City Council's companies.
Having supported Bridget McConnell in the devolution of cultural and leisure provision from council control to Culture and Sport Glasgow,[1] Aileen Colleran was rewarded with one of six Councillors' seats on the Board.
