John Tolhurst has been Commanding Officer of the HM Ships Berwick, Exeter and Invincible, Assistant Director, Naval Warfare, in the Ministry of Defence, as well as Naval Aide-de-Camp to HM The Queen.
He was appointed as senior military adviser to the head of Defence Export Services Organisation (DESO), Senior Defence Consultant to Reed Exhibitions Defence, Aerospace Group and Spearhead Exhibitions, and as chairman of the biennial Defence Systems and Equipment International Exhibition and Conference (DSEi).
