David Yerushalmi is an American lawyer and anti-Shariah law activist[1] 'with a history of controversial statements about race, immigration and Islam'. He is best known for authoring the model anti-Sharia legislation introduced in more than 30 states across the USA.
According to the New York Times 'Yerushalmi has come to exercise a striking influence over American public discourse about Shariah', ', despite his lack of formal training in Islamic law'.[2]
