Tina Stowell

Tina Stowell, Baroness Stowell of Beeston, has been a UK Conservative Party peer since January 2011.[1]

In May 2015 Stowell, who has been leader of the House of Lords since 2014, was promoted to a full cabinet post on a full cabinet salary.

Political career

Stowell was appointed as parliamentary under secretary at the Department for Communities and Local Government in October 2013.[2] In July 2014 she was appointed leader of the House of Lords and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster,[3] replacing Lord Hill of Oareford when he was appointed as Britain’s European commissioner.
