Poyry
Revision as of 13:49, 17 February 2014 by Melissa Jones (talk | contribs)
Poyry is an energy consultancy. In February 2014 it published a report claiming that the UK's 'nascent shale gas industry will die without an overhaul of the planning system'.
- Pöyry circulated its findings last week to the House of Lords economic affairs committee, which is holding an inquiry into fracking. In a 2012 report, Pöyry predicted shale gas production would begin by 2014. It now says planning delays and public opposition make production unlikely to start before 2020. [1]
