Background
West Cumbria Managing Radioactive Waste Safely Partnership (Westcumbria:mrws) was set up by Allerdale, Copeland and Cumbria County Councils to look into the feasibility of volunteering to have an underground nuclear waste repository in the region.

- Osprey Communications - acts as communications adviser to the Westcumbria:mrws. Its work has included strategic communications advice, media relations, an advertising campaign, organising public exhibition stands, producing a DVD and producing a live ‘Question Time’ style webcast. [1]
