Simon Heale
Simon Heale was appointed Chief Executive of the London Metal Exchange in July 2001. He has worked in a variety of senior positions for multi national companies In America and the Far East and joined the LME from Jardine Fleming Limited in Hong Kong where he was Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that he was Deputy Managing Director of Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd. Educated at Winchester College and Oriel College, Oxford, Heale is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. In February 2005 Simon was appointed a non-Executive Director of Morgan Crucible.
- Director of LCH Clearnet Group Limited. He qualified as an accountant in 1978 with Price Waterhouse and has had extensive experience in the Far East having held senior positions with the Swire Group in Japan and Hong Kong.[1]
- Kazakhmys PLC appointed to the Board as a non-executive director with effect from
1 January 2007.[2]
