Alexander Leitch (Lord Leitch) is a Labour peer in the House of Lords, having joined on the 7 June 2004.
Leitch also holds senior positions at BUPA, Old Mutual Wealth and FNZ, having formerly been chairman of Scottish Widows Group, head of the UK branch of Zurich Financial Services and deputy chairman of the Bank of Scotland plc, Lloyds Banking Group plc and HBOS plc.

Whilst he was in power, Tony Blair utilised Leitch and viewed him as one of his most trusted business advisers. When Gordon Brown replaced Blair, Leitch maintained his Labour links by donating £5,000 to the party in 2007.[1]
