The learning and development programme was developed following a two-day residential workshop and a series of interactive training seminars. The programme offered those involved the chance to get to know one their partner agencies much better, hone their knowledge and skills and work more closely for both their mutual benefit as well as the benefit of target clients of the Employment Support Programme.

- Rocket Science was asked by the LDA to design, facilitate and report on an Olympic Peer Review workshop, as well as liaise with the other eight Regional Development Agencies in order to prepare a comprehensive report on the "Live Work and Visit" benefits of London's hosting the Games. Our value to the Olympics project was in providing the capacity and flexibility to pull together a wide variety of different work strands and research projects that were all working separately, but in parallel in the run up to the bid's submission. The Live, Work and Visit chapters offered an evidence-based story of the benefits of hosting Games drawing on the work of the 2012 Bid Team Legacy theme groups and the work of the 5 Olympic Boroughs. Rocket Science also designed and facilitated a key meeting between the LDA and the 5 Olympic Boroughs as part of forging the all-important support for the legacy vision.
