Relation to Zionism

In Hasmonean we teach Ivrit from Reception to Year 6 with an aim to inspire love for the language and Israel from an early age.'[1] 2019 Gala: 'Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who came to support the school at our gala dinner. We hope you had an enjoyable evening celebrating all the achievements of our wonderful school. We were blessed to be joined by the remarkable Professor Deborah Lipstadt who addressed us at the start of the evening. This was followed by a presentation from members of Year 6 who recounted some of their fondest memories of their time in the school. Our guest of honour, the brilliant Lord Eric Pickles, was then interviewed on stage by Richard Ferrer, editor of The Jewish News.'[2] In 2015, Pikuach reports an assembly on the topic of ‘Good news from Israel’[3]
