The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) is an operating arm of the British Ministry of Defence . Its role is to build, maintain and service the infrastructure needed to support defence.
Its chief executive is Graham Dalton, who was appointed November 2016.
Former staff
Richard McCarthy was chief executive until March 2015. After leaving the civil service he was appointed Executive Director at Capita Property & Infrastructure at Capita, which was a strategic business partner.
