Patrick Erwin is a former senior UK civil servant who was seconded from central government to become the commercial director of Ineos Upstream UK from 2014 until May 2016.
After his secondment ended Erwin continued to work with Ineos until December 2016. He left to join energy provider Northern Powergrid as its policy director.
