Ian Murray has been the Labour Party Member of Parliament for Edinburgh South since May 2010. [1] In the 2015 UK general election Murray retained his seat with a majority of 2,637. [1]
Under Jeremy Corbyn's leadership, Murray will remain shadow secretary of state for Scotland, having been appointed by Harriet Harman back in May 2015. [2]
