Ross Hayman is the Northern regional director of Copper Consultancy and the husband of Labour Party MP Sue Hayman.

Career

Hayman began his career in the working for local newspapers, as a reporter for the Weston Mercury, Eastern Daily Press, Gloucester News Service and the Western Daily Press.

In 1995 Hayman began in communications, first as a press officer for the Labour Party, then in 1998 as director of communications at the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service and then as head of UK media relations at National Grid.

He has been the Northern regional director of the Copper Consultancy since 2011.[1] Hayman's job was declared on Sue Hayman's Register of Members' Financial Interests due him being 'engaged in lobbying the public sector on behalf of a third party or client'.[2]
