Andrew Tucker is Executive Director of Christians for Israel International, a Christian Zionist organisation and the international wing of the Netherlands-based Christians for Israel. Tucker is Australian and trained as a lawyer in Australia, the UK and the Netherlands. He also works as a legal consultant to the European Coalition for Israel.[1] The latter role has been described as entailing 'advocating the position and interests of the State of Israel under international law within the European Union and United Nations.'[2]

Tucker believes that the creation of the state of Israel was an expression of divine will:
- Israel and the Jewish people do not exist by the grace of the United Nations, or of the European Union, or of any nation on earth. They do not exist because it is a good idea, or because you or I or anybody else decided they should exist. They exist because God made a sovereign choice to elect a particular people to be His instrument of peace in this world.
- Israel and the Jewish people exist because God wills it to be so.
- If we, the nations of the world, do not respect His choices, we will be destined for tyranny and captivity. If, on the other hand, we respect His choices, we will be ensured of peace and prosperity. It is as simple as that. It is as true for you and me as individuals in our personal lives, as it is for the nations of which we are a part. It was the prophet Zechariah who stated millennia ago that those who touch Israel touch the apple of God’s eye.[3]
Tucker opposes the creation of a Palestinian state in the West Bank and the Gaza strip and supports the creation of illegal settlements in the former:
- More and more Christians are coming to a realization that God is bringing His people home to Jerusalem and the hills of Judea and Samaria – His people and His land, in preparation for the Coming of the King and the Kingdom.[4]
