Charles Lyell, Lord Lyell, is a Conservative member of the House of Lords.[1]
Northern Ireland
Lyell served as an under-secretary of state in the Northern Ireland Office from 12 April 1984 to 25 July 1989. [2]

- LLP Member of Lloyd's (aviation; marine; non-marine; motor)[1]
Despite being an LLP member of Lloyd's, when asked about his interests by the Wall Street Journal Lyell said, “I’m not aware that I have major interests in a financial company".[3]
