Simon Burton was appointed as special adviser for the Department for Transport to David Cameron in May 2014. [1]

Career

From April 2013 until May 2014 Burton was part of the policy and briefing team at Post Office. Before this he was a political adviser to the Conservative Party for two years. [2]

From 2009 Burton was a constituency organiser at the Huntingdon Conservative Association for two years. Before this, he was a constituency assistant for the office of Jonathan Djanogly MP from September 2007 until October 2009. [2]

Education

Burton studied at the University of Hull where he undertook a Master of Arts in Legislative Studies (2006 until 2008) and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics (2006). [2]
