Ian Pearson is a former Economic Secretary to HM Treasury until May 2010. In March 2011 he joined the board of Big Four accountancy and management consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers. [1]
Upon leaving the Treasury Pearson set up as an independent consultant; his company 'IPP Associates Ltd' advises on' strategy and business development'. He accepted his first commission in September 2010, subject to a one-year condition that, he should not become personally involved in lobbying UK Ministers or Crown servants, including Special Advisers, on behalf of any company or organisation or its clients.
