Veena Hudson is Deputy PM Nick Clegg's Senior Special Adviser, Home and Foreign Affairs since July 2013, and his Special Adviser, Defra, DfT and CLG since January 2012.
She was previously Head of Media and Stakeholder Relations at Monitor, the independent regulator of NHS Foundation Trusts (June 2010 – January 2012).
Hudson has also worked as head of public affairs for ACCA; as a parliamentary and government relations adviser for the UK Environment Agency (2005-08); and as parliamentary researcher from 2003-04 for Clegg when he was a European Parliament MEP. [1]
