Arieh Livne is a former Shin Bet officer.[1]
Livne is the former head of interrogations at the Shin Bet and was commander of 'the greater Gaza region' during the Second Intifada.[1]
Livne was at one time responsible for the rehabilitation of agents who worked with Israeli security forces. He was appointed as the first head of a witness protection agency established by the Israeli government in 2008.[2]
