Robin Shepherd is Director of International Affairs at the [[Henry Jackson Society]] and a former Senior Research Fellow at [[Chatham House]] specialising in Europe. Robin Shepherd is Director of International Affairs at the Henry Jackson Society and a former Senior Research Fellow at Chatham House specialising in Europe.[1]

Shepherd studied Russian at the University of London’s School of Slavonic and East European Studies and gained a master's degree in political theory from the London School of Economics.[2]

He worked in journalism until 2003, with his last position being Moscow bureau chief of the Times.In that year he became a public policy fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Institute for Scholars in Washington D.C. where he focused his attention on the expansions of NATO and the EU and its impact on transatlantic relations.
