Mario Brod (died 1980) was a new York Lawyer.[1]

Brod served as a US Army intelligence captain during World war Two, and worked with James Angleton's OSS unit.[1]

In 1956, Brod opened a law practice on Broadway, which later moved to Park Avenue. He also became a salaried contractor for the CIA[1]

His task included acting as a minder for Russian defector Anatoly Golitsyn.[1] He also handled payments and logistics for Angleton's agent, Jay Lovestone.[1]

According to FBI officer Sam Papich, Brod had contacts with the Mafia.[1]
