Brig. Gen. (res.) Amos Gilboa is an Israeli intelligence expert.[1]

Gilboa held several senior positions in the Intelligence Corps and in the Intelligence Department of the IDF General Staff, his last position being Head of the Research Division. He also served as Advisor to the Prime Minister on Arab Affairs and as Advisor to Defense Minister Moshe Arens. He holds an M.A. in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.[1]

As of 2004, Gilboa was a lecturer on intelligence studies at the Lauder School of Government, Policy and Diplomacy of The Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya. he was also a political columnist for Ma’ariv daily newspaper at this time.[1]
