Zalman Shoval is head of the Likud Party Foreign Policy Bureau and a former Israeli Ambassador to the United States. Shoval served as an adviser on foreign policy issues to former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. He is also the chairman of the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya Institute for Policy and Strategy. From 1990 to 1993, and again from 1998 to 2000, he served as Israel’s Ambassador to the United States. He is currently president of the Israel-American Chamber of Commerce[1].
