Ehud Barak was Prime Minister of Israel from May 1999 to March 2001. He has been leader of the Labor Party, Minister of Defense and Deputy Prime Minister since June 2007.[1]

Barak headed the IDF military intelligence branch Aman from April 1983 to January 1986.[2]
