Stacey Plax is responsible for raising the profile of the Transatlantic Institute, through organizing events across Europe. Plax holds a BA (Hons) in Human Communication and a Postgraduate Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy. Since 1999, Stacey has volunteered for Young Hadassah International, raising awareness and funds for Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem[1].
From her biography at the ROI Community:
"I was born in South Africa, so I have always had a close connection to Israel, as the community is very Zionistic. I moved to London at the age of 12, as my parents wanted to give my brother and I an opportunity to succeed in the wider world. I visited Israel for the first time at the age of 16 and had a serious car accident. I chose to take the positive effects of the life-changing experience I encountered, as I now raise awareness for Hadassah Hospital, by travelling around Europe as a volunteer, to represent the world class institution."[2]
