Stacey Plax is responsible for raising the profile of the Transatlantic Institute, through organizing events across Europe. Plax holds a BA (Hons) in Human Communication and a Postgraduate Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy. Since 1999, Stacey has volunteered for Young Hadassah International, raising awareness and funds for Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem.
From her biography at the ROI Community:
- "I was born in South Africa, so I have always had a close connection to Israel, as the community is very Zionistic. I moved to London at the age of 12, as my parents wanted to give my brother and I an opportunity to succeed in the wider world. I visited Israel for the first time at the age of 16 and had a serious car accident. I chose to take the positive effects of the life-changing experience I encountered, as I now raise awareness for Hadassah Hospital, by travelling around Europe as a volunteer, to represent the world class institution."
