The International Association of Business and Parliament (IABP) says it 'exists to establish a non-corrupt, transparent bridge to understanding between parliamentarians and business people – strengthening democracy and strengthening national economies.'[1] In reality it is a key resource for corporate lobbyists to secure privileged access to politicians and civil servants.
