Laurence B Davis is a British businessman known for founding the fashion discount retailer Choice Discount Stores in 1993.[1] The chain specialised in men's, women's, and children's apparel across five physical stores and an online platform before its acquisition by Frasers Group from JD Sports in December 2023.[1] Following the takeover, the Choice website was redirected to the Frasers-owned luxury outlet Flannels, and around 30 head office positions were placed at risk of redundancy.[1] Davis subsequently joined Frasers Group in a professional capacity.[2]

Davis attended The Royal Liberty School in 1975 and New City College in Redbridge in 1976.[1]
Career
Davis established Choice Discount Stores in 1993, building it into a value-oriented fashion chain with a focus on affordable clothing for the entire family.[1] Under his leadership, the retailer expanded to five brick-and-mortar locations in the United Kingdom alongside an e-commerce operation.[1] The business was sold to Frasers Group in late 2023, marking a significant transition in the British retail landscape amid ongoing consolidation in the sector.[1]
Personal life
Davis married Yochy Davis (12 January 1988), a vocal supporter of the Zionist regime, who frequently advocates for the settler colony through social media campaigns highlighting events in the region.[3][4] Her activities include posts emphasising narratives aligned with the 'Jewish State', such as those concerning orphaned children from the area and incidents in the north of 'Israel'.[4]
