Guy Newey was appointed special adviser to UK energy and climate change secretary Amber Rudd in May 2015. [1]
He is the former head of policy at energy supplier Ovo Energy.
Newey previously worked for four years at right-wing think tank Policy Exchange as its head of environment and energy.
