Graham Evans is the Conservative MP for Weaver Vale. [1] He was elected in May 2010 with a majority of 991. [2]
Background
Before he worked in politics Evans had a successful twenty year business career in manufacturing, working for companies such as BAE Systems and Hewlett Packard. [3]
Evans also spent four years as a special constable in the Cheshire constabulary and ten years as a local Councillor in Macclesfield. At Macclesfield borough council, he served on the community development committee. [3]
Education
Evans attended Manchester University Business School where he gained a degree in business and a diploma in marketing management. [3]
