Political Communication is a quarterly American scholarly journal that covers political communication topics It iss published jointly by the American Political Science Association and the International Communication Association via Routledge.
History
In 1980 Political Communication and Persuasion was a journal founded by terrorologist Yonah Alexander. It was published by Crane Russak. The journal continued tp be published under the joint editorship of Keith R. Sanders and Lynda Lee Kaid until 1991 when it was succeeded by Political Communication. [1]
The journal chaged names to Political Communication in 1991 when Political Communication Divisions of ICA and APSA agreed to co-sponsor a new journal. [1]
The new journal began publication as Political Communication (Volume 10) under the editorship of Doris Graber in 1994 [1]
