Mark Davies was special adviser to UK Labour minister Jack Straw from 2005 to 2010 in the Ministry of Justice.
He was also an adviser to Valerie Amos for six years when she was Leader of the House of Lords. [1]
Davies now works as communications director at Post Office. Before this he was director of communications at the charity Rethink, one of the largest voluntary sector provider of services for people affected by mental illness. [2]
Background
Before working as a special adviser, Davies worked as a senior broadcast journalist at the BBC as well as duty editor at CNN. [2]
