Patrick Loughran is a former special adviser to Lord Mandelson in the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills from October 2008 till April 2010. [1]
Loughran now works as director at Thirty Six Strategy as well as the director of strategy at Blue Rubicon. [1] At Blue Rubicon Loughran advises clients on strategic positioning, competitive framing, and messaging, he applies the lessons that he learnt from his experience of developing strategy and winning campaign narratives for New Labour’s successful election campaigns. [2]

Patrick was formerly Special Adviser to Lord Mandelson and he also previously worked as a special adviser at Number 10 Downing Street and at the Cabinet Office. Prior to working in Government, Patrick worked at the heart of new Labour’s campaign successes as head of research. [2]
