Ben Williams is the current special adviser to the Government Chief Whip. Williams is one of the Government Chief Whip's two Special Advisers, working day-to-day for Alistair Carmichael.
Prior to this he was head of the Liberal Democrat Whips Office for twelve years. Williams was also secretary to the parliamentary party for the Liberal Democrats at the same time as his role as head of the Whips Office. [1]
