Mark Canning is a former British diplomat and a senior adviser at lobbying agency Bell Pottinger Communications.
Career
Canning was a British diplomat for four decades, 14 years of which were spent in Asia.
In September 2014 he was appointed a senior adviser in Asia for Bell Pottinger. Chairman Piers Pottinger said Canning 'will be an invaluable asset for clients looking to develop within Asia and access its markets'.
Canning said he was looking forward to 'advising clients on how to develop the multitude of opportunities that exist in the region'.[1]
