Peter de Putron is a banker who lives in Guernsey and is the brother-in-law of UK financial services minister Andrea Leadsom.
He has donated £816,000 to the Conservative party since Leadsom first successfully ran for parliament at the 2010 election. [1]
Donations
- Andrea Leadsom - payments were made to her directly through UK-registered companies controlled by de Putron: Gloucester Research, which changed its name to GR Software & Research, then to Trenchant, and now trades under yet another name, G-Research. Leadsom's husband, Ben Leadsom, is a director.
- Open Europe - has made a total of £680,000 in donations to the right-wing think
