STRATUM is a biobanking (storage of human tissue samples for research) project, described as "a collaboration between the pharmaceutical industry and academia, led by AstraZeneca". Other partners of the consortium include GlaxoSmithKline, Lab21 and the universities of Manchester, Nottingham and Leicester.[1]
"Public engagement" for the project is managed by Genetic Alliance UK.[2]
