Alistair Burt is a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Conservative Party. He represents the constituency for North East Bedfordshire. He was elected to parliament in the June 1983 General Election with a majority of 12,251 votes.[1]

Burt was a Foreign & Commonwealth Office minister prior to leaving the Government in October 2013.[3]
