The Bloody Sunday massacre took place in Derry on 30 January 1972 when soldiers from the Parachute Regiment opened fire on a civil rights march. 13 people died on the day, and a 14th, John Johnston, died later as a result of his injuries.[1]

- Corporal E - Inquiry could not eliminate the possibility that he shot one of William Nash, John Young or Michael McDaid.[5].

- Sergeant O - Platoon Sergeant. Commanded vehicle which struck Alana Burke and Thomas Harkin.[13]
- Corporal P - Shot at least one and possibly all of William Nash, John Young and Michael McDaid.[14]
- Private Q - Probably shot Michael Bradley.[15]
- Private R - Probably shot Jackie Duddy.[16]
- Private S - Inquiry could not eliminate possibility he shot Patrick Brolly.[17]
- Private T - Probably shot Patrick Brolly.[18]
- Private U - Shot Hugh Gilmour.
