The Slimming World All-Party Parliamentary Group states its aim as:
- To promote good health and well being; to provide practical advice and group support on weight management and loss; to promote healthy eating and physical activity; and to support members in developing healthy lifestyle habits.
Its chair as of October 2010 is Rosie Cooper(Labour) and vice-chair is Mark Williams, Lib Dems.[1]
Affiliations
Slimming World supplies a consultant to attend meetings. It also provides all necessary literature and waives registration and meeting fees, equating to a saving of approximately £290 per year per member (registered July 2010). [2]
