Sarah Baxter is a journalist currently working for The Sunday Times. In the early 1990s she was the political editor of The New Statesman. Baxter was one of only a few journalists at The New Statesman to support the first gulf war [1]. Baxter edited the Observer comments page for a short time before joining The Sunday Times as news review editor. She then moved on to be The Sunday Times New York correspondent.
