Strategic Survey is the annual review of world affairs from the International Institute for Strategic Studies. First published in 1966 it provides analysis of each year’s key events in international relations and is desinged for government policy makers, journalists, business leaders and academics.

From 1977 - 2001 it was edited by the former CIA analyst Sidney Bearman. [1] Since Bearman's departure, Strategic Survey has been edited by the American Jonathan Stevenson and Alexander Nicoll, the former defence correspondent of the Financial Times.
