Centre for Israel and Scotland Relations
In a 2019 article, Mick Napier of the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign wrote that the centre was headed by Kennedy when it organised a "political training day" in the Glasgow area in August 2015, attended by Eitan Na'eh of the Israeli Embassy and an Israeli government minister.[1]
On 25 February 2016, during a Scottish Parliament debate on a motion about the Culture for Coexistence open letter, Jackson Carlaw welcomed to the public gallery "Ruth Kennedy of the centre for Scotland and Israel relations", along with Eitan Na'eh and Stanley Lovatt.[2] A Herald column by Ken Smith on the Glasgow celebration of Israel's 68th Independence Day, organised by Lovatt, described her as "director of the Centre for Scotland and Israel Relations" and reported her remarks on Israeli technology.[3]
She attended the 21 June 2017 meeting of the Scottish Parliament's Cross-Party Group on Building Bridges with Israel for the centre. The minutes record that she told the group that the Women's International Zionist Organization would be in Aberdeen in the coming months and hoped to exhibit its work in the Scottish Parliament.[4]
In September 2020 Christina Jones wrote that she had taken over as director of the centre from "my predecessor Ruth Kennedy".[5]
