Andrew Cooper is a former special adviser to the Conservative Party. Between 2011 and 2013 he worked as director of political strategy for prime minister David Cameron. [1]

Cooper left his full-time Downing Street job in October 2013 to return to Populus, the high profile market research and polling company that he founded in 2003. [2] [3]

According to The Telegraph, Cooper remains a close adviser to Cameron and will direct the party’s data analysis operation during the election 2015 campaign. [2]
