Paul Zollinger-Read is the CEO of BUPA.
Contents
Career
In 1992 Zollinger-Read began working as a doctor in Braintree at the Mount Chambers surgery.
He was CEO of the NHS in East Essex from 1996 to 2010 and subsequently the NHS in Cambridge and Peterborough until 2011.
From 2010 to June 2012 he was the director of commissioning development at the Midlands and East Strategic Health Authority and from 2011 to June 2012 he was a medical advisor and primary care lead at The King's Fund.
In July 2012 he was appointed Chief Medical Officer of healthcare group BUPA.[1]
