Christopher Meyer was a spin doctor for John Major and the UK ambassador to the US in the run up to the Iraq war. He served as Ambassador to the United States from 1997 to 2003.[1]
Meyer is chairman of the advisory board of corporate PR and lobbying firm Pagefield, which was set up in August 2010 by Mark Gallagher. [2]
Meyer was a non-executive director of British engineering and aerospace components company GKN between 2003 until 2010.
Memoirs
His memoirs DC Confidential caused some upset in Whitehall after going through an approval process which involved amongst others Andrew Turnbull, Dickie Stagg, Howell James and Gus O'Donnell.
