Will Straw was the Labour Party candidate for the 2015 election for Rossendale and Darwen. He is also the founding editor of LeftFootForward.org and an associate director at Institute for Public Policy Research.
He is the son of former home secretary and foreign secretary Jack Straw.

Straw has worked in the UK government as a senior policy advisor on enterprise and growth issues at HM Treasury and in the US as an associate director for economic growth at the [[Center for American Progression in Washington D.C.[1]
He is the founding editor of LeftFootForward.org, a blog focusing on British politics, policy, and current affairs.

Cannabis
As a 17 year old he was forced to write a letter to Tony Blair apologising for 'letting down and embarrassing the Labour Party, after he was caught selling cannabis to undercover reporters while his father was Home Secretary.[3]
Personal life
Straw's father is Jack Straw, the home secretary between 1997 and 2001 and foreign secretary from 2001 to 2006.
He is married to Claire Straw, who works for the Bill Gates Foundation.[3]
